I have come to realize....

  • It's hot out, not as hot as it has been, but nonetheless HOT! I am extremely sensitive to the heat, it makes me feel like such a crab.
  • I was walking all over campus today with my laptop in my bag and I came to the realization that laptops are too heavy! ;) Well, mine is at least.
  • Some crazy stuff happened on Saturday and who knows if I will get to finish the rest my my training. I will find out the details tomorrow, so that should be an interesting blog post.
  • I love therapy and now that I 'took a break' from going, due to my hectic schedule, I know now that I really need to be in it to keep me grounded.
  • Men are hard to shop for! At least MY husband is... I'm trying to find the perfect anniversary gift for him and wow it is hard! I found one thing that I think he will really like and I want to get it inscribed with a super romantic saying, but the site I found it on does not give a clear view of the inscription. So, I worry.
  • Some people really should try to be nicer. If a person does you a favor and forgets something as stupid as NAPKINS, say thank you, at least SHE saved you the trip of doing it yourself. DO NOT SIT THERE AND COMPLAIN LIKE A LUNATIC ABOUT MISSING NAPKINS YOU UNGRATEFUL BEAST.
  • Now I should be nicer. Oh no! Damnit!
  • I loved Kung Fu Panda. I cannot believe how amazing the graphics were!
  • I want to go see Wanted. If I do not have training this weekend that is where you will find me!

Sad

Well, I finally did it. I deleted my blog. My blog of four long years. I was a little sad, but I did it quick, so there was less pain involved. Similar to ripping a bandaid off. Do it quick and it will only hurt for a moment, do it slow and it just makes it hurt!

Funny question.

I was at the evil empire today (Walmart) and picked up all the essentials like shampoo and soap. I even made it to the register in record time which was a new experience. I tend to have ADD when I go to stores and end up buying a whole lot of crap I don't need. All my goodies were rung up and put in the bag, I swiped my card and of course the machine wasn't working so the lady asked for my signature on the receipt. I whip off my John Hancock and she looked at it and then asked me. "Is that your signature?" Um, no. When you blinked an evil monkey came out of no where and stole my pen and signed for me.
Here are a few things she could have done or said:

  1. Can I see your ID (should have been asked for anyway)
  2. Actually look at ID and look to see how I signed my it.
  3. OR the SMARTEST thing she could have done:
    1. FLIP OVER MY CREDIT CARD AND LOOK AT THAT SIGNATURE!
So, I just politely said "Yep, that's my signature." and walked away. Good job cashier! So, for all of you credit card thieves out there, go to her!

Up Way Too Early....

Especially for a Saturday morning! My life this month is incredibly insane. I have exactly no free time at all. I am going to summer school, so I can graduate in one year, instead of a year and a half. So, just school and work take up my Monday's through Thursday's. On Friday-Saturday-Sunday I have training. I am getting trained to work with trauma victims, especially rape, child abuse and domestic violence. So, that in and of itself is emotionally draining. This is only beginning the second weekend and I am truly exhausted. I am hoping the rest of the month just flies on by and July comes quick! I took the entire month of July off, to rest! Oh, my birthday and anniversary just so happen to occur in the same month, so yay!
Just so you know, I am clumsy. Clumsy is probably not strong enough of a word. I am pretty much a world class Klutz. I tend to fall/trip/dump/spill/stain on a regular basis. Now that you know my background lets tell you a story:
On Wednesday I took off of work to attend a workshop. I was dressed informally, jeans and a nice top, with wedge sandals on. Where I live only has street parking and I parked on the other side of the block, right next to a huge yard that wasn't fenced. So, I was being lazy and decided to walk through the yard. (that part will come in handy later) When I finally got to the workshop I some how managed to get my shoe caught in my pants and ended up twisting my foot, not my ankle, my foot. It started hurting, not too bad but enough to feel that something wasn't right. The workshop was about six hours long and when it was over I got in the car and looked down and my whole foot (just one) was swollen so much that my sandals were leaving dents in my foot. I get home and put some ice on it and the swelling recedes...then tons of little red dots start popping out! I started freaking out and then I remembered that when I was little I was extremely allergic to grass, among other things. I hurried up and took a benedryl and the dots went away by the next day, but the swelling was back! Yuck! I went to work but ended up skipping class because it was getting stiff from being so swollen. It is finally down more today and it doesn't hurt, I guess that is all I can ask for!
As you can see, I couldn't be normal and just twist my ankle. Oh NO! I had to reinstate an old allergy that hasn't popped up much since I was 10. Oh the fun it is to be me!

First Post

I am a seasoned blogger, for about four years now. I've been through the ups and downs of blogging/advertising/confidentiality and everything else you can throw in there. I just recently decided to put my old domain to rest because I wasn't able to express myself any longer. Too many people knew about my site; friends and family and worst of all coworkers! I want a place I can vent my anger/frustration and of course happiness. So here I am! Pull up a chair and let's B.S.
